This is Moo. She is a sweet little girl, who, along with Midnight, was transferred to SCAF from another rescue group. She was very timid and shy, but after visits from PetCo staff, became very lively and friendly. Moo was adopted out of PetCo and is pictured here with her new mommy.
St. Croix Animal Friends held its annual “Raise the Woof” animal walk in North Hudson this year, at the North Hudson Elementary School. It proved to be a good decision that not only pleased the vendors, but the walkers and runners as well. North Hudson is a beautiful area with lots of young growing families and home of the famous Pepper Festival.
The day was very hot and humid, but that did not deter the walkers and runners from showing their support of St. Croix Animal Friends. Everyone enjoyed the brats from R J Meats and the delicious Cedar Crest ice cream. The vendors were happy to be indoors, protected from the elements and able to display their product in a more desirable fashion. A good time was had by all and what fun to see such magnificent animals, cats as well as dogs.
The love these people have for their companions is so heart warming. St. Croix Animal Friends wants to say thank you to all of you for support and participation in our walk. Without you and your generosity none of what we do would be possible.
